Bruce is a trumpet player native to New Jersey. He began playing trumpet in the school band in 4th grade, and has not stopped chasing the next big performance. He was a participant in a wide range of honors ensembles at Freehold Township High School (‘10) and The College of New Jersey (‘14, B.M. Music Education). He graduated TCNJ with a degree in music education, having performed in almost every ensemble the school provided.
After graduating, Bruce soon realized he felt far more at home on the stage and in the studio than in the classroom, and began to take his performance career very seriously. Since then, he has gradually developed into a working musician, working with some of the area’s top bands!
Beginning in the Asbury Park region in 2014, Bruce has been to 25 states, D.C., Germany, Holland and England! He’s also been featured on over 20 records for various local and national artists.
Some notable performances include the Atlantic City Beerfest (2x), Nectar’s (Burlington, VT), The Stone Pony (Asbury Park, NJ), NJPAC, The Hard Rock Casino (Atlantic City, NJ), Skate and Surf Festival (2x), Wonder Bar (Asbury Park, NJ; 5x sold out), The Count Basie Theater, The Lancaster Roots & Blues Fest, The Exit Zero Jazz Festival, the Strand Theater (Lakewood, NJ), Sea.Hear.Now, and Convention Hell (Convention Hall, Asbury Park. NJ).
